Ingredients

  • 1poundground turkey
  • 1smallonion, diced
  • 2clovegarlic, minced
  • 115 oz can tomato sauce
  • 3Tbstomato paste
  • 1Tbsmaple syrup
  • 1tspmustard
  • 1tspsmoked paprika or chili powder (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 4sandwich buns

Directions

  1. Sauté onion + garlic in a skillet for 2-3 min.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, maple syrup, mustard, and spices.
  4. Simmer 10-15 min until thickened.
  5. Serve on buns.
