Chicken Souvlaki with Greek Yogurt Dip

Chicken

  • 4boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 2 inch chunks
  • 1/4cupolive oil
  • 1/4cupdry white wine
  • 2Tbslemon juice
  • 1tspdried oregano
  • 2tspgarlic, minced divided
  • 1tspcoarse salt
  • 1/2tspblack pepper divided
  • 812-inch bamboo skewerss soaked
  • 1/2English cucumber coarsely shredded

Yogurt

  • 1 3/4cupGreek yogurt
  • 2tspwhite vinegar

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium high or preheat the broiler.
  2. Mix chicken, oil, wine, lemon juice, oregano, half the garlic, salt, and half the pepper in a large bow! Thread chicken onto skewers.
  3. Grill chicken, turning occasionally, until grill marks appear and meat is cooked through, 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. Squeeze excess liquid out of cucumber. Transfer to a medium bowl. Add yogurt, remaining garlic, remaining pepper, and vinegar; mix until combined. Serve with chicken immediately.
